Good find

Purchased this item to nest inside a magma cookset. Packs very small. The wide clear lid allows it to double as a cook pot. The handles stradle the top providing great support and prevent the soft sides from collapsing while pouring. Be careful to keep heat from climbing up the sides. Wish it was just a little larger otherwise a great kettle.

My favorite backpacking kitchen piece!

This has been the best upgrade to my backpacking kitchen. I can now prep two cups of coffee, or two freeze dried meals at once. And it's so small when collapsed. Very good build quality too.

Nice space saver...

I like this little kettle, I just wish there was a way to put the bowl and cup inside the pot as well. Then one whole cook kit on one package. Either way, it takes up very little space for what it is.

Great Product!!!!

I love this compact pot. It holds a good bit of water. I’ve made two person meals in it before. It gives me more room in my rucksack. It is easy to pore and having a lid is helpful with boiling the water.

Tea anyone?

What a great idea!! This now takes the place of my metal boiler while taking up only about 1/4 of the space. While it is true that I could store other gear (stove etc) inside the metal pot, I can with this too. It just happens that a folding bowl and cup fit inside the area usually covered by the lid when the pot is folded. Strap on the lid and I have almost every utensil needed for a meal in a disc about 6" across by 2" thick.
I can not comment yet on how well this will last compared to full metal but it does appear well made with thick quality materials. I will update later if needed.

Worked..

Just used it once for a test boil before bringing it out on the trail. Heated up a couple of tasty bite/trader joe Indian themed meals boil bag style. I used a brs ultralight stove and the smallest isoprene can. Made sure to keep the flame well within the metal dish bottom. Worked great. I’m very satisfied. Only consideration is that this might only be big enough for 1-2 patient people. More, you’ll want to go with a bigger size.
