Sun shades are crucial when taking your child on a long car ride. They can reduce the temperature in the car by up to 40 degrees and are extremely useful on scorching summer days.
They even shield your child from harmful UV rays, which can cause sunburns and skin cancer. Moreover, they also reduce glare and protect against insects and pests.
AMAZING FOR KIDS - Smaller children ride in the back seat, and are the passengers most likely to be bothered by high temperatures and bright sunlight. Protect your loved ones in their car seats and booster seats by applying these sunshades to the rear side doors of the car. This provides UV protection, cuts sun glare, reduces heat, and prevents your children from getting burned or overheated
INCREDIBLY EASY TO INSTALL - The flexible, stretchy mesh just pulls down over the open car door. Fits almost every car to a maximum of 44. 3 inches by 20 inches.
YOU CAN STILL ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS - The mesh is breathable, and because it’s on the exterior of the door frame, you can still roll down the windows and enjoy a nice breeze from outside while staying protected from the sun. Stick on tinting can’t do that!
Question: Will it fit my car?

Really dig this product. Know that in certain light, they do compromise visibility. Go figure, right? Also this mostly flat black material mostly absorbs the heat energy. Sooo, maybe there are gains in a change in color or reflectivity. Perhaps the inside of the window shade/sock be of a lighter color to redirect that energy to the black outside heat-sink sock material?
I bought a set of these last year and LOVED them. I tell everyone how great they are. Not only do they provide privacy and shield from the sun but they keep the overall temperature of the car much cooler. They also keep seatbelt buckles from reaching a scalding temperature.
The only downside to these is you have to be gentle putting them on your car, I know, what a terrible predicament, ha! Other wise they work great. I got them so my dogs wouldn't fry in the back seat when going on trips. I usually only need to use one and they shade the car really well on the sunny side. I even use them while driving and have not had any issues with them making much noise or tearing from the wind.
I repurchase these all the time. I'd say that they last eight months to a year. They can last longer if you take them off when going through a car wash. And after some time, the sun does fade the side that's on the outside. I will continue to buy this on up until my baby is 3 years old. It keeps the backseat a little cooler on drives as the sun is not blazing into the back windows.
We gave these a test - 5,500 miles round trip from California to Florida. We drove 80 MPH (Texas Speed Limit), it rained a few times and was bright and sunny with 120 degree temps other times.
Pros: There is a noticable difference for the kids in the backseat. It was cooler and it blocked the glare so they could rest, and watch DVD's to pass the time.
Cons: kids couldn't see outside very well when there was something to look at.
