Dog & Cat Car Seat Carrier

I like this seat, it is a little small for my miniature dachshund (she is a bit longer than most dogs I suppose). She is barely 11lbs and after one use, bent the support bar that makes up the front panel of the seat from propping herself up to see out the window. it isn't rendered useless but I maybe should have considered a larger size for her except I believe that would give her roam to move around too much and tangle herself in the strap. It was easy to install. It did had a strong chemical smell so I left it outside overnight to try to air it out before using it. It has a zip pocket but getting more than a napkin in there would be a challenge. It is adjustable and would be great for a toy sized dog.

So glad I purchased this! It's a must-have if you travel with your dog. This carrier is sturdy, roomy and handy. I like that it has a pocket in the front to hold wipes, leash, treats etc. I also like that the carrier is sturdy and I think it makes my dog feel more safe. It is also large enough to fit a small blanket and pillow in so that my dog feels safe and comfortable. I have a 15 lb Cockapoo and she seems to love this carrier. Only downsides is that the sides keep coming undone (they are secured with velcro) and that there isn't any padding around the plastic tubes that secure the sides of the carrier. My dog likes to lay its head over the sides and it just seems like that would be uncomfortable for her.

Its a good size no padding so I put a bed and blanket inside. My dog is 13lb. I wanted one that lifted her up so she could see... the weight of her and the bedding pulls it down makes the straps collapse the front a little. I had to stick my jacket and sweater to hold the bottom up. I would feel safer in an accident if the safety leash was attached more securely then the stitching, that would never pass if it was a child.
It is helping her anxiety. I usually use a seatbelt attachment in the passenger seat. She recently has been having melt downs and has to be in my lap which is so unsafe!
So im happy to have a safer option.

Very pleased with the doggie car seat. Archie is very small about 7 pounds and there is plenty of room for him. I did put a small blanket it the bottom to make more comfortable because sometimes he takes a nap. Archie is a rescue dog and is a bit skittish but seems to be very comfortable and happy in his seat. I took this picture at a red light. Now as soon as we get in car, he hops over into his seat. I like that I buckle him in so if in wreck he would not be thrown or get away. It was not hard to install, very easy.

Love the vibrant color! Easy to install! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I wish it was higher up to wear she could see out of the window. Also when she goes up on the sides very easy to fall down on the sides. BUT for the price and everything else it is WORTH it!!
